Something fresh is officially arriving at Ellis.

On Friday, September 4, Sprouts Farmers Market will open its doors at Ellis Village Center, marking a major milestone for the community and the beginning of a new shopping, dining and gathering destination for Ellis and the greater Tracy area.

The celebration starts bright and early with a ribbon cutting at 6:45 a.m., followed by doors opening at 7 a.m. at the new Sprouts at 2106 Ellis Town Drive, at Ellis Town Drive and Corral Hollow Road.

And Sprouts is making a weekend of it.

Grand-opening festivities run September 4–6, with giveaways, samples and activities throughout the weekend. On Friday, the first 200 in-store shoppers will receive a free reusable tote, the first 400 customers will receive a complimentary long-stem rose and a pop-up party outside the store will feature samples and a scavenger hunt. More activities continue Saturday and Sunday.

Sprouts Rewards members can also receive 20% off throughout opening weekend, September 4–6, when they set their preferred store to Tracy-Ellis and scan their Rewards account in store or use the promotional code when shopping online. The offer is subject to Sprouts’ terms and a maximum $20 discount per account.

A New Center for Everyday Life at Ellis

For Ellis residents, the opening represents more than a new place to grocery shop.

The Ellis Village Center was envisioned as a walkable neighborhood destination where daily conveniences, dining and services could become part of life close to home. Sprouts is the first major opening, with an expanding mix of businesses set to join the center, including Paris Baguette, Chipotle, Slice House, Chocolate Fish Coffee, Firehouse Subs, Wingstop, Pokemoto and more.

It’s another way Ellis continues to grow as a community designed around how people actually live. Parks and open spaces, new neighborhoods and homes, places to meet a friend for coffee or dinner and now fresh groceries just around the corner all contribute to a more connected, convenient everyday experience.
